Put on your shoe. Before you tie your laces, curl your toes. Your instep will then be a little bulged. Tie your laces while keeping your toes curled. That way, your shoes will no longer be too tight.
During the day your feet swell
As your feet get thicker, your shoes get tighter. It can therefore be comfortable to re-tie your laces halfway through the day.
