Sarah Boyle, a 26-year-old mother from Staffordshire (a county in the United Kingdom), probably owes her life to her 5-month-old son Teddy. While she was breastfeeding him, the baby refused to suckle her right breast several times. Teddy had previously had no problems with breastfeeding. This reaction prompted Sarah to consult a doctor. And she was right!
"Teddy could obviously smell that the milk from my right breast didn't taste the same as my left breast," Sarah Boyle told the Daily Mail , a famous British newspaper. “If I gave him the wrong one, he would panic completely, and start screaming. I felt like he was trying to tell me something. At the Royal Stroke University Hospital (a university hospital in England), she had a scan and biopsy of her breast, which revealed a tumor:she suffered from a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Today, the mother obviously stopped breastfeeding her son. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will soon undergo a double mastectomy. We wish him a lot of courage!
