Research has shown that we take an average of 6,000 steps per day. 10,000 steps is therefore a nice and achievable goal, although you will probably have to do something extra for it. Many phones have an app by default where you can see your step count. The Moves app also keeps track of the number of steps you take and thus gives you insight. That way you can see whether you can use an extra walk today or not.
Look less on your phone
Are you slightly addicted to your phone? Then you probably check your mobile regularly during the day, without really being aware of it. Put the Checky app on your phone for a while and you can see how many times you check your phone in a day. Unplugging every now and then is good for you.
Working in a more structured way
Not everyone benefits from the same way of working. You can use your digital agenda, so that you can access your up-to-date agenda wherever you are. You can keep track of your to-do list in an app like Todoist. But for some, pen and paper still works best.
