In case of teething, chewing can effectively relieve pain. Opt for a teething ring to chew:there are very many models. Some are even filled with a refrigerable liquid or gel. Put the teething ring in a cool place for a few hours (in the refrigerator and not in the freezer) and then give it to your baby. The cold will effectively relieve the pain. All the major childcare brands offer them. The teething ring also allows your baby to chew and therefore facilitates teething.
In addition to the teething ring, you can use particularly effective natural remedies. For example, our grandmothers used to use marshmallow, liquorice or violet roots in the past (in pharmacies or herbalists) that your baby can chew as much as you want. You can also apply a special gel for teething on his gums. Some natural formulas include sage, for example. Another effective product is a spray made with organic propolis extract, which has healing and calming properties. Finally, consider homeopathy. All mothers of young children know the Camilia for example. You can also give him other homeopathic complexes:ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice.
If you've tried everything, and your baby's pain is visibly intense and/or it's accompanied by a fever, don't hesitate to give him paracetamol (making sure of course to give him a dose corresponding to his weight). This will bring down the fever and ease the pain. And don't forget that cuddles and a cuddly toy are also very effective in calming baby!
