Hot towel, homeopathy, essential oils… Have you tried everything to soothe your period pain? Nothing is lost. A new gourmet tip may be able to relieve you:chocolate. But not just any! A herbal chocolate thought up by a Swiss confectioner and called "Frauenmond" ("The Moon of Women").
This idea, Marc Widmer, creator of the brand "Chocolate with love", had it three years ago. To make a recipe adapted to the needs of women, he relied on the advice of a phytotherapist. He finally created a chocolate containing 60% cocoa and 17 herbs from the Swiss mountains. A mixture supposed to soothe menstrual pain since serotonin and chocolate theobromine associated with herbs would have a calming effect on the body.
To market this one-of-a-kind chocolate on a large scale, Marc Widmer launched a crowdfunding campaign. But if you can't wait, this sweet treat is already available on the "Chocolate with love" website. A taste experience that still has a cost:around 12 euros per tablet.
