In terms of underwear, we must admit that many of us like to have a laaaarge choice in our closet (someone mentioned Victoria's Secret?!). And we are very proud of it! But it turns out that when it comes to playing sports, our pretty thongs, panties, lace or silk shorties are not the most appropriate when you sweat (and if you want to avoid getting pimples on neither does the ass).
But then, what to wear? The Wellandgood site conducted the survey with a New York gynecologist, Eden Fromberg. “The good health of the vagina depends on an ecosystem of micro-organisms. And the material of our underwear influences this ecosystem. The main cause of infections is humidity. Indeed, the vagina is naturally resistant to infection, but underwear made of synthetic material, very tight or even silk tends to retain moisture. So it's true that lace and silk are the most aesthetic option, but the most "healthy" option is organic cotton. The alternative, if you can't see yourself going to 100% cotton, is to choose lycra or lace underwear with a cotton lining. That way, you don't really have to choose between looks and safety! And do sports without underwear (yes, you have to think of all the options…)? There, it's a definite no, because of the friction.
In summary:we treat ourselves to pretty organic cotton panties that we reserve for our sports sessions. Our crotch will thank us!
