Could you handle it? This is the new test for the US military

The exercises are not tender.

In addition to the fact that the exercises are physically demanding, the admission test is also aimed at mental toughness. To work for the military, you need to be 'in shape' both physically and mentally.

These are the exercises:

  1. Three deadlifts with at least twice your own body weight.
  2. Throw a 4.5 kilo medicine ball back and up to test how fast and agile you can move.
  3. Five 50-meter shuttles that include sprinting and towing with a 40-kilogram sled and kettlebells over 15 kilos.
  4. Do as many leg tucks as possible in two minutes.
  5. Run two miles (3.22 kilometers) in 12 minutes and 45 seconds.
