Record and cooking:this super simple cheese naan recipe has set YouTube on fire!

It was seven years ago, but YouTube - this huge digital museum - allows you to find videos in one click that do not suffer from any expiry. Even more so when they concern a cooking recipe. So while in this second pandemic spring, we were looking for a dish as consistent as delicious to offer you , we unanimously thought, within the editorial staff of Biba, that the cheese naan recipe could only delight you.

Cheese naan:the comfort dish of confinement!

To do this, we watched some 12 million videos on the subject to finally choose the one produced jointly in 2013 by Hervé Cuisine and Sanjee from bollywoodkitchen. A duo who, with a smile, proved that in no time at all, we could access this culinary delight that everyone loves. Because yes, how can you resist this soft bread generously garnished with Laughing Cow and brushed with butter. The question is asked and it "is quickly answered ". It's impossible ! Because the cheese nan even if it is, let's face it, hyper caloric is clearly one of those dishes that do good, a lot of good, both to prepare and to taste. So in this dramatic period when the Covid-19 robs us of the happiness of celebrating certain delights of existence, let's find refuge in our kitchen to offer ourselves material to exalt our taste buds and therefore our spirit.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g wheat flour
  • 18 cl of water
  • 125 g of Bulgarian yoghurt (i.e. 1 jar)
  • 4 tbsp. tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. coffee sugar
  • 2 pinches of baking powder
  • 8 g baker's yeast
  • 12 Laughing Cow servings (2 per naan)

PREPARATION

  1. In a food processor or bread machine, mix all the dry ingredients:flour, baker's yeast, baking powder, salt &sugar.
  2. Make a well in this flour, and add the liquid ingredients:oil, yoghurt, water (18 cl)
  3. Knead the dough for 10 to 15 minutes
  4. Let the dough rise for at least 1 hour 30 minutes in a warm place, covering it with a tea towel
  5. Form 12 small balls of the same size, roll them out with the rolling pin on a floured work surface
  6. Roll out the Laughing Cow on a disk of dough, leaving 1 cm all around, place a second disk of dough on top and seal the edges, pressing well with your fingers
  7. Cook your naan for 5 minutes per side on the plancha, or in a pancake pan for example
  8. Place on a dish and sprinkle with a knob of butter…
