It all started with a tweet:@Ondeejeune, feminist and blogger, invited all women to tell their medical struggles on Twitter using the hashtag #PayeTonUterus.
Very quickly, the criticisms were mainly directed towards gynecologists. Highlighting the inappropriate thoughts and almost dubious practices of gynecological doctors. Insensitive, offensive and violent, the professionals took it for their rank. Hundreds of messages have already been posted expressing indignation at these behaviors and practices. Aberrant tweets!
Many men took the subject lightly, criticizing this initiative and urging women to simply change doctors. The fairer sex fought back but despite these few cases, some men wanted to support this feminine revolt.
The French hashtag #PayeTonUterus about the bad behavior of gynecologists towards women makes me sad and should remind all men how privileged they are
But in this avalanche of messages, each more horrible than the next, some women wanted to make it clear that there is still hope!
A great initiative that has the merit of saying out loud what is unfortunately happening down below! Perhaps these criticisms will make some gynecologists think and kindly invite them to show more compassion and delicacy towards their patients, but above all more consideration.
