That's it, it's time to leave! We've been waiting for this fabulous romantic trip with Bibi or a reunion with friends for months, so we planned the whole thing:we booked a 4-star hotel, spotted good restaurants and above all... we treated ourselves to a trip by plane, 1st class please! And what is the hostess going to offer us? A glass of champagne (or a glass of wine)! Only here, even if the desire to sip your drink, comfortably lying on its adjustable seat, is very tempting, it is better to avoid... and here is why.
The plane is a very special mode of transport, and despite progress, altitude and its effects are still felt inside the cabin. Our bodies don't work exactly the same way anymore, and our brains can get a little disoriented (and if we're anxious about flying, that's worse). It therefore seems useless to add a dose of wine to this... at the risk of starting to dance on the seats! According to doctor Maryse Dupré of the Nantes University Hospital, interviewed by Madame Figaro , by plane, the effects of alcohol would be multiplied by two and a half times, even three times. At equal quantity, alcohol would also enter the blood faster, especially with regard to soft drinks. Crazy, right? Clearly, if you still want to treat yourself to a drink, we limit the quantity, and the champagne, we forget (sorry)! And even if you are stressed, it is better to find another way to relax. We recommend music, it's less risky!
