Don't give in to the fitness rut.
1. Use heavier weights
Have you been training with the same weight for months? Time to add some weight. Add the weight gradually to avoid injury.
2. Train faster
Between sets of exercises, you should rest for a maximum of 30 to 45 seconds. That is indeed short, but the fact that you get exhausted afterwards is good.
3. Train slower
Do the exercises more slowly, consciously and more controlled to make them heavier. Focus on the muscles that are supposed to do the work and keep the rest quiet.
4. Train together
And then not to chat during training. Try to challenge and push each other to the limit.
5. Break your personal record
Challenging yourself is the way to get the most out of your training. You can register yourself for a competition to train somewhere.
How do you keep your training challenging?
