We've known for years that sugar is bad for us, but... depriving yourself of little sweets is no less complicated. Suddenly, Delicesweet is a bit like the messiah of our taste buds. This Parisian address also sells its products on the Internet.
The concept:to select from around the world the best natural products without sugar and without aspartame. Originally, Christine Ivetich and Vincent Duclos learn, in 2008, that their daughter has type 1 diabetes. They then decide to explore healthy AND good alternatives, but discover with amazement that... nothing exists on the French market . Two beats and a few movements later, Delicesweet is born.
On their site there are sweets (for example, natural marshmallows with 0% sugar), jams, cookies. And especially chocolates and spreads from master chocolatiers such as Venchi (Italian house whose Chocolight range is sugar-free gluten-free palm oil or animal fat), or G.Roux, master chocolatier Champion of France who obtained the 1st “Taste and Health” prize and representing sugar-free chocolate each year at the chocolate fair.
How are all these products made? Thanks to the use of natural substitutes such as maltitol, which replaces sugar. It is an all-natural carbohydrate derived from renewable agricultural raw materials. There's also cocoa butter, an all-vegetable, cholesterol-free lipid. Or almond powder, coconut powder, hazelnut powder or gluten-free flour to replace traditional wheat flour.
Huuumm… to (finally) break the tablet serenely:the dream!
