We ingest a food, and nothing else, for a set period of time:from one shot (a meal and that's all) to a full weekend. There, you have to hold on to hold on from breakfast to dinner, snack included. Fortunately, you can vary the pleasure with different spices and/or cooking methods. We mainly eat “seasonal” (potatoes and rice in winter, fruit in summer, except the red ones, which are too
acidifying), and healthy foods.
By swallowing only one food, we put our digestion at rest, while allowing our body to clean up:the liver is drained, our immunity boosted and we have a peach of hell. Bonus:you can lose a kilo along the way (provided you don't swallow three boxes of Granola the next day).
If it lasts a weekend (max), none:the body will draw the nutrients it needs from its reserves. On the other hand, we avoid if we are sick, convalescent or have eating disorders.
