I have a hangover, what do I eat?

Above all, no fat.

When we have abused beers, cocktails and other shots, we should wake up with a desire to spend the rest of the day in diet mode. But this is often not the case… As we are tired and weak, we have, on the contrary, a tendency to want to throw ourselves on a ready-made dish that stalls, such as junk food (burger, kebab, etc.). Obviously, you feel better right away since it contains a lot of fast sugars. On the other hand, and this is the problem, the large amount of fat present makes the nauseating state last, or even aggravates it...

Keep it simple.

To avoid the disaster scenario, we bet on a large plate of pasta. With, for example, a drizzle of oil or a little butter, cheese or tomato sauce. Not even brave enough to boil water? You can opt for yogurt, compote and bread. Another good idea:buy a piece of flan at the bakery. It's nutritious and not greasy. In any case, the simpler you eat, the better.

And we drink water.

About two liters during the day, just to eliminate toxins. The best:Vichy St-Yorre. Mineral water contains the most bicarbonate. Perfect for alkalizing the body and fighting against gastric acidity. If you've been sick all night and you can't eat or drink anything, you can opt for Coke (light or not). It helps digestion and it gives a little boost thanks to the sugar (if it's normal). In case of stomach aches, wait for it to degas a little before drinking it. And since it takes two days to eliminate alcohol, we think it's almost over!
