More than half a million women die in childbirth every year. Time to act , thought international health organization Simavi. They organized a relay race throughout the Netherlands. Saturday 5 September Robert ten Brink kicks off in Haarlem.
The relay then travels throughout the country, including Maastricht, Groningen, Utrecht and ends on September 26 in The Hague. Everyone can join in – well-known Dutch people such as Xandra Brood, Diewertje Blok and Sylvana Simons also put their best foot forward!
