Plan between the days that you exercise regularly a rest day, that is good for your body. Why?
Your muscles need time to recover
A solid workout is hard on your muscles. Small tears can form in the muscles. By taking a rest day, you prevent overexertion. Your muscles can recover and become stronger.
Rest prevents injuries
Nagging pain can become an injury if you continue to exercise intensively. A rest day is therefore very important. If necessary, you can cool or massage the painful area.
It's easier to keep up with your sports routine
Exercise makes you feel good. On the other hand, when you skip a workout, you often feel guilty. By planning a fixed day of rest (or several) you prevent that feeling of guilt.
