Regular and consistent
Exercising regularly and doing it consistently can have a positive influence on your sleep. To really notice the influence of this, you would have to last for months to exercise for at least 30 minutes 3 times a week.
Don't exercise too late
It is important that you do not exercise too close to bedtime, because then it has the opposite effect. Exercising makes you energetic and afterwards it lasts for a while. Try not to exercise for the last two hours before bedtime.
Every form of movement counts
A half hour walk can be enough to make your body more tired and fall asleep more easily.
