By also doing exercises for your back muscles, you keep your core in balance and strengthen the entire section.
2. To reduce the risk of back problems
A strong back is a healthy back. Do you already have back problems? Then it is also important to train your back, but then you have to know what you are doing and whether those exercises are good for your back. In that case, ask for advice from someone who understands it.
3. For good posture
Your back muscles are important for stability, balance and good posture.
