Who says winter said comforting dishes . This is no longer a novelty. We crave sugar and fat. And at this time, the star food is none other than... the pumpkin . It expands to infinity. We love it in a salty recipe , we like it in our drinks (pumpkin spice latte) and apparently we also like it in pancakes . You had to think about it. The recipe is super simple and ultra gourmet . It can be made for breakfast or for a snack . Or both, your choice. We would choose both. This recipe is for 8 people and you will need a total preparation time of 20 minutes.
Preparation
To make this recipe you will need:
- 1 1/2 tsp. all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp. baking powder
- 2 tbsp. packaged light brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 bed. Milk
- 1 bed. pumpkin puree
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tbsp. pure vanilla extract
- Butter, for cooking
Preparation steps:
- Get a large bowl in which you will mix flour, brown sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon , nutmeg and ginger.
- Book . Get another bowl in which you add milk, and pumpkin purée.
- Whisk together then add the eggs while incorporating the vanilla .
- Mix all the ingredients brought together in a single bowl using a wooden spoon .
- In a large stove , Melt the butter over medium heat. When the butter becomes foamy , reduce the heat again and pour in the pancake batter in the pan.
- Cook until bubbles begin to form in the batter and the pancake is golden on the bottom for about 3 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden, another 3 minutes.
- Repeat until you have no dough left and enjoy !
