Combine balanced lunch and work

After a busy first part of the day, it's time to regain strength with a good lunch. It is not a question of having a hearty meal to weigh down your stomach, but rather of having fun by varying the foods. You can afford to eat a pizza, croque-monsieur or deli sandwiches from time to time. You still have all afternoon to burn those lunch calories. But this must remain very occasional. The major problem at work is that you don't always have the time or the opportunity to eat as you should. The key is to balance each food with the others to obtain a healthy and energetic meal that will allow you to last the rest of the day.

What foods for lunch?

The prince's lunch is ideally made up of 50% vegetables, 25% starches and 25% proteins. A good meal will keep you going until dinner and avoid snacking – although a snack is not prohibited as long as it remains low in calories. It is not always easy to find good eating habits when working. We sometimes eat on the go or in restaurants. It is therefore important to adapt your meals to your work rhythm. For those who eat at the office, we bring soup, vegetables, pasta, meat (or fish) and a dessert (compote, yogurt or fruit). For those who eat at the restaurant, we prefer steamed vegetables with meat or fish, asking for the sauce on the side. For dessert, we prefer a fruit salad or yogurt than a chocolate cake. If ever you have no other choice than a quick meal in a bakery or in a fast food restaurant, choose the simplest meals:ham and butter or tuna sandwich with raw vegetables, sushi, spring rolls, salad, etc. with a yoghurt or fruit type dessert.
