Drinking water is the BA-BA of hydration, the secret of all people who display beautiful skin, the recovery trick of great athletes... and it's quite simply vital for the body ( we remind you:1.5 L of water minimum per day, more in case of extreme heat). Except that with sodas, juices and other smoothies, it is sometimes difficult to want to drink “just water”. We give you some tips so that it is no longer a chore.
Ask anyone who doesn't like to drink water and the answer will always be the same:"it doesn't taste good" or the variant "it doesn't taste good" (how can something has no taste may not be good? We don't know…). The solution is simple:all you have to do is add flavor to the water. We can do this via Waterdrop-type capsules, but also and quite simply thanks to lemon juice or orange blossom drops, or by infusing fruit in our water (there are water bottles that incorporate a filter that allows to do it very easily). You can also think of iced tea, just leave a tea bag in your flask of fresh water for several hours.
We may be in adulthood, nothing better to motivate ourselves than to find something fun in the activity that puts us off. By the way, we play down the “1.5 L of water” which seems unfeasible by transforming it into a number of downright accessible glasses:about 8 per day. Which means that you can set goals:a drink when you wake up, a drink when you get to the office, a drink before going to lunch, a drink at lunchtime, a drink at 3 p.m., a drink before leaving work. office, a drink on the way home, a drink at dinner, a drink before going to bed… It's really fast! We can also say to ourselves that we drink a glass of water before doing a particular task during the day (a glass of water before the metro, a glass of water before starting to sort emails, etc. .). Good to know:drinking water is rather a virtuous circle, which means that by taking the right reflexes, it no longer becomes an effort but a habit.
If drinking enough is a problem, we are always left with the option of eating water-rich foods. We think of fruits and vegetables in bulk such as watermelon, tomato, melon, citrus fruits, cucumber, radish, strawberry, green salad, mushrooms, apricot, apple... Well, that certainly does not exempt not to drink a lot of water, but it allows you to consume water without realizing it (just a bonus!).
So, cap or not cap to drink 1.5 L of water a day? We answer “Easy”!
