First of all, do you have to have a boat license to be able to ride a jet ski ? Very good question ! Yes…and no 🙂
If you want to do a jet ski session and therefore be able to drive a jet ski , you must have a coastal sea boat license as indicated by the law of 1992, for any machine whose power exceeds 6 CV. From the age of 16, you can register for the coastal license. You should know that piloting a jet ski without a license is liable to a fine of 1500 euros!
If you do not have a boating license and you do not wish to do so in the near future, two solutions are available to you to be able to ride a jet ski :either rent a jet ski and sit behind someone who has the license and who can therefore pilot the jet ski, or go for a hike with a qualified instructor.
Finally, check that you have your license with you or that one of your friends who holds a coastal license or fluvial has it of course for the jet ski rental . Now all you have to do is choose the place of your sea trip to book your trip!
