Did nothing for a while? Winter is a good time to pick up running again.
In the February issue, you'll find everything you need to get back to running:from what to wear to motivational tips, technique and nutrition.
Some tips for the really cold days
- Do your warm-up indoors, so your muscles are already warm before you go outside.
- Make sure your tour starts at your house and walk in a loop around your house, so that you are back home as soon as possible.
- When the wind is cold, it is best to run in sheltered places.
- Is the sun shining? Then it is best to run in open places, so that the sun can warm you up.
-
Choose really good layers instead of very thin layers. Once you get started, you warm up quickly, so hold back. Often two layers are enough.
