A balance board workout is an easy way to strengthen your back muscles. At the same time you train your core and your balance. The idea is that you stay upright on the balance board and wobble as little as possible. The more you practice on the balance board, the better and faster your muscles will respond. This also strengthens the coordination of your back muscles, so that you have less chance of back pain. Do this exercise for a few minutes a day, for example while watching TV or brushing your teeth. You can buy a balance board from about fifteen euros.
