Who doesn't want to be in shape fast. But is that even possible or is that an impossible task? This is the answer!
It depends on what you mean by "getting in shape fast". There are two types of fitness:cardiovascular fitness and muscle fitness. Combining the two goes a long way, but there is no magic formula that works for everyone.

With cardiovascular fitness you work on your heart and lungs – for example through interval training. You train your fitness by increasing your heart rate. By improving your fitness, your resting heart rate will eventually decrease.
With muscle condition it depends on what your goal is:do you want to work on your reaction time, on your endurance, or on your maximum strength? Or to all three? You can train your muscle condition very well with strength training.
