Tartiflette, raclette, fondue… and mont d’or ! Here are the dishes that instantly make our mouths water. Indeed, these cheese-based recipes, in this winter season which has only just begun, guarantee us a gourmet meal and totally comforting! To dazzle our month of December, Cyril Lignac unveiled in the show Tous en Cuisine Menus de Fêtes on M6, his recipe for mont d'or Vacherin with sausages . We won't be able to do without it soon!
Recipe:Vacherin mont d'or with sausages by Cyril Lignac
Preparation time:15 minutes
Cooking time:15 minutes
Serves 4
You will need:
- 1 great Vacherin Mont d’Or
- 1 Morteau sausage or 3 Chipolatas
- 2 eggs
- 120 g of flour
- 60 g melted butter
- 3 cl of milk
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- Fine salt and ground pepper
Utensils needed:
- 1 pot of boiling water + 1 slotted spoon + 1 frying pan
- 1 cutting board + 1 chef's knife + 1 tablespoon
- 1 salad bowl + 1 whisk + 1 spatula
- 1 baking sheet
The preparation steps:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Cook the sausage(s) in boiling water and then in a pan for a few minutes to brown nicely. When they are nicely colored, cut them into slices.
- Remove the cheese from its wooden box. Remove the crust. Cut the cheese into pieces. And keep aside.
- Mix the eggs, flour, butter and milk, baking powder, add the sausages and cheese. If there's any cheese left, you'll melt it on potatoes for another meal.
- Pour into the wooden box.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
