You are already familiar with Shazam, the application that identifies the title of the song heard in a pub, in a bar, or at a friend's house. In seconds you can add it to your playlist . Why limit this performance to music? With the advent of this technology , we have seen the birth of applications that allow us to know more about what surrounds us. This is particularly the case with PlantNet which allows you to take a picture of a plant and instantly know which plant it is. On the same principle, it is possible to take a picture of your dish and to determine the number of calories that it contains. In addition, artificial intelligence intends to simplify people's daily lives. And with this new application, it intends to restore its letters of nobility to... cheese !
This application, named Cheezam (we love the pun, bravo) will allow all poor connoisseurs (but amateurs) of cheeses to know a little more about those they consume. During a dinner or in the supermarket, it is not always easy to identify , at first glance, what kind of cheese it is. Cheezam is the product of a French start-up, Prevision.io. It uses artificial intelligence to identify everyday objects and foods. To use this feature , nothing's easier. Go to the Cheezam.fr website with your smartphone . Take a picture of the cheese(s) in front of you. You can also use a pre-recorded photo. A name and a certainty index between 0 and 100% is then given to you. You can boast to your guests that you know all types of cheese.
Please note:the application is still in the testing phase. . So you may find some errors.
