It seems that our intestine is like our skin:the slightest stress and the slightest change can be seen immediately on it! In times of strong emotions, some will "block everything", others will "let go". So after the holidays and just before the start of the school year, we are generally well back. How about trying plants to calm down and get back on your feet?
/ In case of constipation:herbal tea with hibiscus flowers, mallow and lemon balm. After letting it infuse for 10 minutes, drink a liter of this cocktail spaced out throughout the day for a month. After working in depth, your digestive system will regain strength and you will finally be able to breathe! You can also try flax and psyllium seeds, boldo, artichoke or fumitory herbal tea, and a spoonful of pollen (on an empty stomach) to rebalance the intestinal flora. Fearsome!
/ In case of transient diarrhoea:loosestrife. For 10 minutes, infuse a teaspoon in a cup of hot water. Other effective plants:blueberry berry (dry!), bramble, blackcurrant (in juice) or lady's mantle.
/ In case of bloating:star anise. After each meal, drink a cup of this magical infusion. To make it, take 3 to 4 stars, infuse 10 minutes in boiling water and voila! If you are stressed, try herbal teas of valerian, hawthorn or essential oils of Roman chamomile or basil. Otherwise, you always have the vegetable charcoal solution!
/ In case of heartburn:licorice. If you don't have high blood pressure, suck on a stick after meals or dilute half a teaspoon of liquorice powder (sold in pharmacies) in half a glass of water. Otherwise, opt for green clay powder which will form a very effective gastric dressing.
