This tip may seem obvious, but how many of us face the winter cold without being perfectly protected? To remedy cold hands and cold feet, cover yourself well. Socks, scarves and especially a hat are essential to stay warm:more than 50% of body heat escapes through the head! No need to wear 100% wool sweaters to go to work:rather multiply the layers and wear cotton fiber clothes that do not compress blood circulation. To warm your cold hands, prefer mittens to gloves:fingers pressed together will produce more heat. And, if despite these tips, you're still frozen from head to toe, think about the heaters!
When you are at home, remember to hydrate yourself regularly with hot drinks (except coffee, not recommended for warming up). If your interior is tiled, place rugs all over the house - this simple trick should go a long way in warming up your cold feet! Essential oils can be useful for warming up. In the evening, massage your feet with a few drops of camphor essential oil mixed with vegetable oil, then put on socks. And, for even more comfort when going to bed, don't forget to put a hot water bottle at the bottom of the bed before going to bed:no more sheets that are a little too cold!
When you feel your hands getting cold, stretch your arms out to the sides and perform windmill motions for 5 minutes to promote blood return.
