In 2014, Nivea conducted a study among women to find out their habits and well-being resolutions. Four years later, the brand is doing it again, and conducted the survey with 459 women. On the menu:health, cocooning, time for yourself, at home or in the hands of a pro. And the top 5 good resolutions are:1/ Make the most of life and its pleasures (cited 2nd in 2014, great progress!); 2/ Maintain your weight or get closer to your ideal weight; 3/ Do everything to preserve your health by avoiding the factors of poor lifestyle; 4/ Make the most of the benefits of nature (forest walks, gardening, etc.) and 5/ Eat better. Quite a program!
In terms of health, 92% of them want to take care of their figure, compared to 81% in 2014. Sport is also popular, since 81% want to do more (up 12 points). Finally, the desire to quit smoking is increasingly present:73% of participants say they are ready to do so (compared to 58%). If we talk about cocooning and body care, 25% want more rest and relaxation, 21% more massages and 19% more sleep. And 90% of participants said they would like to have more time in the bathroom (at least 10 minutes more for 71% of women). Well-being also involves taking care of the mind, and there, the tendency is to do this alone:54% of women say they are ready to adopt meditation. On the other hand, they are 77% to declare that they do not want to start psychotherapy and 69% that they do not want the help of a coach (whether for stress management or self-confidence).
And you, what are your well-being resolutions for this year?
