As the new year approaches, it's time to take stock! That's why the magazine 60 million consumers has decided to sift through, in its latest special issue, many everyday products such as hygiene products . Because too often, as soon as they have become essential to us, we tend to close our eyes to their compositions, their origins and even their prices. So like toothpaste , 12 deodorant references sold in stores in France, have been analyzed according to their impact on health and the environment.
Based on three criteria – “to be preferred”, to be used “for lack of better” and “to be avoided” – the experts of 60 million consumers have compiled a list of stick and spray deodorants to choose from . We find Sanex Stick 24h, 0% aluminum salts and 0% alcohol; Monsavon Bio Eco-spray, aloe vera, my 24-hour deodorant; Acorelle Deodorant care, special sensitive skin or Douce Nature Déo 24h moisturizing, aloe vera from Mexico. Thanks to their analyses, the consumer association has identified problem deodorant components (allergenic, flammable and even polluting compounds). Among the deodorants to avoid there is Dove original Roll-on 0% alcohol anti-irritation, effectiveness 48h; Narta Cologne 24h effectiveness; Roc Keops, 48h effectiveness without alcohol, without perfume or even Love beauty and Planet Roll-on 24h odor protection, coconut water &mimosa flower.
Also beware of sprays that release polluting volatile organic compounds, and alum stone. Reputed to be natural, the latter contains a small amount of aluminum salts, which are harmful to health.
