According to the University of Michigan, a healthy woman should be able to push herself 16 times. Can't you manage that? Then Steven Estes of the University of Missouri has better news. According to him, you are already doing well if you can do one full push-up every day:push yourself up with your arms from the floor, on your toes, with your legs stretched out.
For a healthy man, the number is 27 push-ups, instead of 16.
