This time we are going to work with HIIT Tabata.
Christina:“HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. It is a top training to get fit quickly. You vary in intensity. You work and take rest. That way you get peaks in your heart rate and you work yourself up a sweat.”

There are many reasons to do a HIIT workout. First of all, the afterburn effect:the combustion continues for a while after training. You burn more fat with HIIT than with a cardio workout at one pace. Your fitness will also improve quickly. And finally:a training costs you very little time. So are you already moaning at the thought of standing on a device for an hour? Then integrate HIIT into your weekly routine. With fifteen minutes or half an hour of intensive training per week you already have a big effect.”
Heidy:“Tabata is a type of interval training, named after the Japanese scientist Izumi Tabata, who researched this form of HIIT. A Tabata block lasts 4 minutes and always consists of 8 20-second intervals of work with 10 seconds of rest in between. You do this for 3 rounds. In 15 minutes you burn a lot of calories and let your heart pump a lot of oxygen through your body. An instant energy boost.”
