Urinary leaks, the causes are varied! Urinary leakage is an accidental and involuntary loss of urine occurring outside of urination. You should know that there are different types of urinary leakage:
For urinary leakage, the causes can therefore be the weakening of the muscles of the perineum or even a disorder in the bladder. Many factors can promote the onset of urinary incontinence:
There are different solutions to treat urinary leakage, whatever the causes. It is important that treatment be undertaken as soon as possible. In the case of urinary leakage during effort, the treatment consists of strengthening the tone of the perineum. The person will thus have to carry out perineal-sphincter rehabilitation with a physiotherapist or a midwife. Breathing, sheathing and posture exercises are then performed.
In the case of urinary leakage by emergency, sessions with the physiotherapist to stimulate the bladder are carried out. The tibial nerve will be stimulated with small electrical impulses resulting in reflex inhibition of the bladder.
