Working out on your own is wonderful:you have time for yourself and can exercise at your own pace. Still, it can be good for you to exercise together or in a group every now and then.
You vary more
When you exercise on your own, you fall into a standard routine faster. Together you break that pattern more easily. It may also offer you the opportunity to try a different sport.
It's easier to do a long workout
Exercising together motivates. When you sit next to each other on the rowing machine, you suddenly give up a lot less quickly and it is also more fun. Another advantage:if you have agreed to exercise together, you will be less tempted to linger on the couch.
Healthy Competition
You don't want to give up before your girlfriend and you don't want to be the worst of the dance group. Working out in a group creates a feeling of healthy competition.
