5 essential criteria for a good bed to sleep well! # Special sleep

1) The bed:it's a mattress and a box spring!
For optimal comfort, we change bedding at most every 10 years. The basic rule of bedding is a mattress and a box spring. We forget the mattresses placed on the floor which in the long run age badly. It is assumed that a mattress is chosen at the same time as the box spring for optimal comfort!

2) Softness at first contact
According to Mickael Haziza, CEO of AlloMatelas, good bedding is evaluated according to two criteria:welcome and support. A good mattress is firm at the bottom but soft on the surface. The sensation of the first contact depends on the filling of wool, linen or hypoallergenic fibers. The more filling the mattress has, the softer it will be. It is better to favor firm support but with a soft welcome that matches our morphology.

3) Firm support but not too much!
The mattress allows our muscles to relax so that we can relax. To sleep well, our lower back, pelvis and shoulders must be well supported.
A very firm mattress is not necessarily better for the back! The mattress must therefore support all parts of the body evenly. Shoulders, hips and buttocks can sink a little into the mattress. If the mattress is too hard, the alignment of the spine will not be ensured. So we do the test, if we can put our hand between the mattress and our kidneys, it's way too firm for us! And we don't count on the softening capacity of the mattress, because a firm mattress will stay firm over time!
NB:the heavier you are, the more support you will need in the hips and buttocks, and vice versa! The lighter we are, the less our mattress needs to be firm.

4) The mattress adapts to our morphology
-Our corpulence makes it possible to evaluate the minimum width of the bedding (140, 160 or 180 cm).
-Our height determines the length of our bed. Ideally, we choose a mattress 20 cm longer than our height.
-Our weight influences the level of support to be selected. The mattress must be adapted to our body so that our spine remains aligned throughout the night. As a general rule, you choose a mattress with the following firmness:
-Soft:for people weighing less than 50 kg
-Medium:from 50 to 70 kg
-Very firm:more than 70 kg
In the end, when you choose a bed, yes there are some recommendations to follow, but you mainly rely on your sensitivity regarding the firmness of the mattress. So before going to checkout, don't hesitate to try out a mattress!

5) What's best? Foam, coils or latex?
Basically, there are three different types of bedding:foam, coils or latex.
For those looking for firm comfort, the foam mattress is their best friend. found in particular at the Bultex brand. Spring mattresses, from Merimos, Treca, Epéda or Simmons, combine quality comfort and good ventilation. Pirelli or Dunlopillo offer latex mattresses recommended for people who prefer softer comfort.

For couples, don't panic if Jules doesn't have the same habits as us! We opt for a mattress with two comforts in one. It is quite possible to opt for a model offering firm support on one side and more flexible on the other.
You don't necessarily have to spend a fortune! The price of a mattress does not guarantee comfort or better support. What makes the price of a mattress are the use of more or less noble materials, more or less neat finishes, and its marketing positioning! So no need to hit the top of the basket.
Mattresses no longer hold any secrets for us, but let's remember one thing, it's that a good bed in the end is the one in which we feel light and perfectly relaxed.
Finally, to keep our mattress comfortable for longer, we pamper it and here are our tips!
