Our feet and we dread them on every outing after putting on new or uncomfortable shoes ! The bulbs , also called blisters by doctors, can be very painful and for good reason. They appear following repeated rubbing, intense or slow, of the skin of the feet against the inside of the shoe. Very quickly, the skin turns red, the epidermis detaches from the dermis, causing a burning sensation and a blister which fills with a clear liquid. But this reaction is natural , it serves to protect the skin under the blister from deeper damage.
To effectively relieve and allow rapid healing of a blister, there are very effective natural remedies . First of all, you must start by carefully disinfecting the bulb with a sterile compress and a natural disinfectant like onion or white vinegar . If it is not pierced, you can use a needle disinfected with alcohol. Above all, do not remove the skin covering the blister, at the risk of seeing the wound become infected. To soothe the pain of the blister, a baking soda foot bath is ideal. Then, to heal the wound you have the choice! You can use a cabbage poultice – a kind of medicinal porridge – for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties or use aloe vera gel . Finally, to prevent the appearance of blisters, remember to hydrate your feet with a rich balm.
